How Homechoice works

1. Register and applyCreate a Homechoice account and complete your housing application. Make sure to provide all the information requested through the actions in your account.
2. We assess your applicationWe will review your application. We may request further information in this step so keep an eye on your account actions. If you qualify, you will be allocated a band and your application made active
3. Search and bid for propertiesOnce your application is active, you can search and bid for suitable homes advertised Properties can be advertised on any day and will normally be available to bid on for at least one week.
4. Shortlisting of bidsWhen bidding ends, eligible applicants will be shortlisted according to the Council’s allocations policy. Bidding is not first come, first served. You will be contacted if you are successful.
